HOME-SPIRATION: On Display

I have confessed my love for beautiful kitchen home goods the entire time I have had this blog. Especially my love for all things Anthropologie. I have a dream that if I slowly accumulate small beautiful items one day my whole kitchen will be full of them! I love the idea of open shelving and all your beautiful stylish dishes being on display. I also love the idea of your pots and pans being on display. Maybe not my Paula Dean beat up college girl pots and pans, but hopefully one day soon I will have a gorgeous set of stainless steel or copper pots and pans that I would ADORE to show off! Here are some of my favorite home-spiration images for showing off your pots and pans.

REINCARNATION: Anthropologie Tablewares

LOVE LETTERS TO HOME.

So I, like everyone else in the world, am OBSESSED with Anthropologie tableware. Over the years I have slowly purchased bowls, plates, and mugs from Anthropolgie from their glorious sale shelves. My theory is that if I slowly collect them, my kitchen will one day be nothing but mixed matched and beautiful Anthropolgie tableware. I have recently wanted to speed up this process so I have tried to find less expensive but just as unique routes for tableware! One of the greatest places to look is ETSY! There are TONS of ceramic and pottery shops that have inexpensive, unique, and beautiful pieces! Another option is to look at department store websites… and buy cool plates or unique mugs as singles and not as place settings so you still get that mixed match Anthropologie feel! Here are a few of my favorites for you to check out!…

This is a beautiful bowl by Owl Creek Ceramics’ Etsy shop! Only $15 plus shipping… and they come in a million different colors

REINCARNATION: Jewelry Storage

So as a woman, lover of all things beautiful, and fashion major, I have collected white a few pieces of jewelry for being so young. Every girl loves a little something that sparkles. I, however, and one of those people that unless all my options are out in front of me I tend to forget all the wonderful pieces I have. So my jewelry ends up hanging from door knobs (yes that is my current solution) or strewn out on my dresser getting tangled. Here are some of my inspirations (and of course ways to recreate them) on how to organize and display your jewels without sacrificing style.

LOVE LETTERS TO HOME.

A touch of whimsy is always a good thing! The interior of a home should transport you… make you feel a certain way. That is why I think having whimsy in your bathroom is the perfect place. I’ve always wanted my bathroom to be a calming and serene place where I can take bathes and leisurely get ready… not the place where I shove cosmetics in the draw and run out the door! So here are a few ways to add a touch of whimsy to your bathroom space.
