So many new homes being built these days do not have built-ins! They really make any room look like a custom living space, plus they provide amazing storage! As long as you don’t get something too trendy I feel like built-ins are an amazing addition to any living space! Here are some of my favorite home-spiration images of built ins and all my favorite ways to show that they really can be versatile!

HOME-SPIRATION: Mirror, Mirror…
Mirrored walls. Everyoneeee knows what I am talking about. So much of the time these things are tacky, heinous, and must be removed from your home! So for all those who have mirrored walls and want to rock them… or maybe are looking to make your small space bigger, check out these home-spirations…
Here are a few ways to get the mirrored effect and expand your space visually… without actually doing the heavy lifting of installing full mirror panels on your walls…
SHOPPING TRIP: Mexco, Uptown Dallas
I love exploring Dallas and all the BEAUTIFUL home goods stores that they have! While having brunch in uptown I stopped in Mecox, an interior decorating store full of ALL the things I would want for my home. Its the kind of place that you could go and decorate your whole home or just find a few quirky pieces to make your house unique.

I found out that there are several locations of Mecox stores! I visited the Dallas one but there are other retail locations in Chicago, NYC, South Hampton and East Hampton, LA, Houston, and Palm Beach.
Here are a few beautiful pieces I found on my visit…

Another beautiful light fixture… this would be PERFECT for an entry way or a huge dining room set up

Beach House perfection? Yes. Or even a calming guest bedroom or bathroom! They had amazing household accessories… I didn’t have time to snap them all!

Spring is in the air and baseball is on TV (its my favorite time of year!)… but that means its time for a little SPRING CLEANING. Well nobody really likes to do laundry… but the best way to encourage yourself to keep a tidy home and those threads off the floor is to have a great space to do your laundry in! Here are a few of my FAVORITE laundry room spaces and a few great items to add to your laundry room to make it a bit more stylish!
Here are my recommendations for creating the best laundry room (don’t forget.. the smallest spaces need the most love to make them beautiful!)
