In honor of our new backdoor being installed today, I thought I would share some of my favorite home-spiration images of bold new doors. You can you use color on any door to give a space a unique feel or just a pop of color!
In my opinion it really takes time and effort to find good online home goods stores that are the generic West Elm or Pottery Barn. Don’t get me wrong I do love those places, but sometimes you are wanting something a little bit more original, something a little less expensive, or just something new! The website of the week posts really started so I could keep track of all of the wonderful and amazing home goods online stores in one place. Now I really just can’t wait to share them with everyone! Here is a new one I found just the other week called http://www.PLAIDFOX.com
My favorite part about this online home goods story is that you can shop a specific style. If you’re looking for a great industrial piece of furniture you can go straight to industrial, if you’re looking for a great coastal accent for your lake house you can go straight to all the coastal home goods! LOVE.
It just gets even better, because if you don’t know what your style is, or really don’t know what you’re looking for but want something for your space you can take their “Find Your Style” test and see what would go best with your taste! Here were my results:
They also run an amazing blog called THE DEN with home decorating ideas, recipes, and interviews with artists and designers.
Now, here are some of my favorite products from THE PLAID FOX…
Happy Monday morning everyone! I thought I would bring a little light to everyone’s week and talk about, well of course, lights! When I used to think of floor lamps I would think of the plastic floor lamp from Target that was in my dimly lit dorm room. Tacky and not functional. However, of recent I have rediscovered the beauty of the floor lamp when searching for lighting for our living room. Here are some of my favorite home-spiration images of floor lamps a few amazing options for any space!
If you’re looking for a stylish floor lamp of your own, here are some of my favorites…
From my extremely limited painting experience, I have come to realize that painting the ceiling is possibly the worst and most difficult part of the whole ordeal (so naturally David is the one who has painted all of our ceilings! Thank goodness for him!) This home-spiration, while back breaking, is such a great way to bring color and a bit of quirk to any space! Plus the idea is perfect if you only want to paint one wall, why not the ceiling? Here are some of my favorite home-spirations for painted ceilings.
In my search for new home goods to post here or to put in my own home, I am ALWAYS looking for new home good stores. I especially love a good online store, since this full-time fiancé and MK product coordinator doesn’t always have the luxury of shopping all day for the latests and greatest home goods. Terrain is a new website I came across the other day while online “shopping” for my latest REINCARNATION: Something Blue.
They have everything from furniture, decor, holiday decorations, and outdoor entertaining. Here are a few of my favorite products they offer.
