These little tables can be so much more than extra storage, or a place to rest your beverage, and I have found some amazing and unique coffee tables. I guess you really are an interior decorating nerd when you get this excited about a table, but I know you all do too! Here are some of my favorite coffee table home-spiration images!

REINCARNATION: Bar Scene

If you have read previous posts you know that my boyfriend and I are huge wine drinkers. I have recently been OBSESSED with trying to find us a beautiful bar, capable of holding tons of wine and that goes with the style of our downstairs. We have a perfect spot, it is just finding the perfect piece of furniture to go there! Here are some of my favorite inspiration images for the bar, and a few great options we have been looking at.

SHOPPING TRIP: Ikea

So every recent graduate or young professional loves a little Ikea action. Its a great place to go to get inexpensive furniture and still feel like you have a stylish apartment. I wouldn’t recommend getting EVERYTHING at Ikea because then your place will look a little generic, but a few key items never hurt anyone! This week we went to Ikea to get a few key items for my boyfriends (barely decorated) house, and trust me… just a few things made a difference! Here is what we got…

LAPPLJUNG RUTA RUG. Its a low pile rug with a bold print! I have been obsessed with this rug since it came out in the Ikea catalogue!

Now if you are really unsure about Ikea and how generic it can be (trust me thats how I feel at times) you might want to check out IKEA HACKERS (www.IKEAHACKERS.net) Its this amazing website that takes Ikea items and shows how people have taken the parts and created something really unique for their space!
