Happy Friday everyone! Nothing says fall in the Stephenson household more than pumpkin picking, apple cider, and some good pumpkin ice cream! This is the delicious recipe I will be serving up this weekend for our amazing fall weekend.
1 Quart of apple cider
1 Package of mulling spices
Spiced Rum (We always prefer Bacardi)
Bring the quart of apple cider and package of mulling spices to a boil.
Once boiling, turn the heat down to low and allow the mixture to simmer for 30 minutes.
Strain out all mulling spices, serve cider over 1 ounce of spiced rum.
So last year David and I went to this amazing little pumpkin patch, drank cider, went through a corn maze, and of course picked pumpkins. Well the Halloween dream ended there because once we got home we didn’t do anything with our pumpkins! They sat around looking cute, but under decorated. If you’re like us and maybe are not in the mood to carve pumpkins this year, here are some great no carve ways to decorate your pumpkins!
Well one of my absolute favorite things is a good sale! Here are a few amazing online deals for Halloween decorations! It is never too early to plan next years decor! If anything catches your eye just click on the picture and you will be taken to the product’s website!!
Of course for the Wednesday before Halloween I had to highlight the most interesting type of wedding I have found… a Halloween Wedding. For all those who love the spooky and scary, anyone Halloween obsessed would love this type of wedding! There are a lot of kooky things that can be involved with Halloween weddings but I picked my favorites, classy and Halloween obsessed. If you’re going to have your wedding on a holiday this is the one they go all out for!
