As a preppy girl myself, I have always loved a little herringbone fabric hanging in my closet. My new obsession now though is the idea of the herringbone pattern in flooring. It is an old craft detail that just looks amazing! This pattern can be used in tile, brick, hardwood, the list goes on and on! Here are my favorite home-spiration images for this amazing look.
I have loved this picture since I saw it on Facebook and I keep picturing what type of home I would have to have to recreate this look. I feel like bold design choices like wood on a wall are kind of like that favorite daring top we keep in our closet but never seem to wear because we don’t know if we can “pull it off.” Well here is my bold choice to try and recreate this look (digitally of course!) So here goes!
First to tackle the wooden aspect of the wall I looked in to laminate flooring and how you might be able to put it on your walls at home.
