I think this post really just is my excuse to look at gorgeous fall scenes with gorgeous leaves changing. That is probably the one thing is the leaves changing (but I can’t complain because it finally feels like fall down here!) Leaves changing and this transition season really seems like a beautiful time to get married, and celebrate a new chapter in your life! The colors are gorgeous, the food is rich, and the scenery is beautiful, what more could a bride ask for? Here are some of my favorite fall foliage wedding inspiration images!
This week is a huge week in our renovations, we finally have floors! Not just any floors but beautiful amazing hand scraped hardwood floors. So this post is an ode to the three months that David and I spent with concrete floors. Here are my favorite home-spirations images of concrete in your home! Hopefully we will never have to see that much concrete ever again, unless its in this beautiful way!
Right now I can’t even believe that I just wrote the word sectional out in my design blog. I have always hated sectional! The word just reminds me of an overstuffed lazy-boy in microsuede, probably with a few stains on it hidden in a basement somewhere. But recently I have thought about putting a sectional in our living room, crazy I know! Is it possible to have a stylish home with a sectional? I think so. Here are some of my favorite home-spiration images for sectional couches and a few of my favorite stylish options.
Here are some of my favorite options for a sectional in your space…
Good news! David has official finished all the dry wall work that was needed for our repairs (yes he quite a handy man!) Last night we were testing paint colors to see what we like! I have always just loved clean white walls and dark hardwood floors. I feel like that look will never go out of style! Here are some of my favorite home-spiration images for white walls and dark hardwood floors. Hopefully one day our downstairs will be in these pictures!
So this is week two of full-time salary employment, and I am loving it! This post really was inspired by my efforts to make my desk a little more comfortable and home-y. David and I went to Target to look for office supplies, specifically a lamp for my desk (I need lots of light to work!) This was a terrible and amazing idea all wrapped in to one because I ended up with a cart FULL of things! Here are some of my favorite office-spiration images of great office accessories!
After a long first week I am ready to kick back and relax this weekend! Nothing sounds better than a front porch swing, a good book, and an afternoon glass of wine (my favorite indulgence!) I just love the idea of a huge front porch swing, almost like a swinging day bed, to relax on. Plus nothing gives you a better canvas to put gorgeous patterned outdoor pillows! Here are some of my favorite home-spiration images of my favorite front porch swings!
If you have read previous posts you know that my boyfriend and I are huge wine drinkers. I have recently been OBSESSED with trying to find us a beautiful bar, capable of holding tons of wine and that goes with the style of our downstairs. We have a perfect spot, it is just finding the perfect piece of furniture to go there! Here are some of my favorite inspiration images for the bar, and a few great options we have been looking at.
Here are some of my favorite pieces to create your own home bar, and a few that are on my own wish list!
So many new homes being built these days do not have built-ins! They really make any room look like a custom living space, plus they provide amazing storage! As long as you don’t get something too trendy I feel like built-ins are an amazing addition to any living space!
