So of course like every interior design junkie I love to watch HGTV and DIY network television shows to get my design fix! David and I have recently been watching Rehab Addict with Nicole Curtis! Love her and how you can follow a house from her first purchase to complete restoration. She LOVES to use every single part of the house and rarely throws anything out. She is always repurposing items. Here is my Rehab Addict inspired post with my favorite home-spiration images of repurposed ladder shelving.
One space I have never really considered is the mudroom entryway. With all the crazy weather here in Cincinnati I now completely understand the true reason for a mudroom. No one wants all that snow and salt and dirt tracked in to their clean home! Here are some of my favorite versions of a mud room. I love the idea that a space like this can be functional and extremely stylish at the same time.
So David and I moved from Texas to Cincinnati, from a gorgeous town home to a tiny studio apartment. That really does mean everything is bigger in Texas! We have been struggling so much with our tiny tiny kitchen. We are a couple that loves food, loves to cook, and loves to drink wine! So what is a girl to do with a tiny kitchen! I decided to take that on as a challenge and find some gorgeous teeny tiny kitchens and get inspired! Here are my favorites…
I am one of those people that when it comes to home decor I believe that everything should have a place. I have recently become obsessed with the idea of having a front entrance table. A place to put our keys and of course to have a few photographs greet me when I get home! I really want to find a vintage wooden filing cabinet for our front entrance. I found some amazing home-spiration images of these gorgeous wooden filing cabinets and I can’t stop thinking about finding one for myself!
They key to any organized house and even organized room is storage! You need a place to put your things, regardless of the size of space you have. The one things I have found so important in our adventures to redecorate our bedroom is bedside tables. I looked at hundreds of bedside tables and found this amazing space saving bedside table idea, mounted bedside tables! This is definitely the most economical approachHere are a few of my favorite images I found!
The ladder. Well everyone has one at the house to do a little handy work. Everyone is trying to climb them in the corporate world. But really can a ladder be a chic room accessory? Um yes. I love the way these ladders are being used as storage, decorating, and more.
Ladders are being used as shelves, blanket and towel racks, and more. I love this idea, and here a few options to recreate this look in your own home!
