HAPPY HOUR: Spiked Cider

Happy Friday everyone! Nothing says fall in the Stephenson household more than pumpkin picking, apple cider, and some good pumpkin ice cream! This is the delicious recipe I will be serving up this weekend for our amazing fall weekend.

SPIKED CIDER.

SPIKED CIDER.

INGREDIENTS

1 Quart of apple cider

1 Package of mulling spices

Spiced Rum (We always prefer Bacardi)

DIRECTIONS

Bring the quart of apple cider and package of mulling spices to a boil.

Once boiling, turn the heat down to low and allow the mixture to simmer for 30 minutes.

Strain out all mulling spices, serve cider over 1 ounce of spiced rum.

The whole idea for spiked cider came when I saw this ADORABLE package of mulling spices at Kroger last week. You can find them at your local Kroger or Amazon!

WEDDING WEDNESDAY: Book Lovers Wedding

Everyone loves a good themed party. But I am not really one for themes at a wedding, but I think there are amazing and tasteful ways to incorporate the things you and your future husband love in to your big day. I recently saw photos on my Facebook feed of a book lovers wedding. The couple were two English teachers who had a passion and love for reading and classic literature and of course classic love stories like theirs. Here are a few amazing photos of hints and flairs of a book lovers wedding without having a full on themed wedding.
